Commercial Driver's License Driver - Class B

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in operating various types of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. The Commercial Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the freight during transit.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.
• Perform route driving to deliver freight to designated locations while ensuring timely arrival.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations as well as company policies.

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving is required.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
• Previous delivery driver experience is advantageous.
