We're currently seeking a dependable and motivated Commercial Furniture Installer to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview

As a Commercial Furniture Installer, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate delivery, assembly, and installation of office furniture and systems. You’ll work on-site at client locations throughout the St. John's area and occasionally beyond. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install modular office furniture (desks, chairs, workstations, partitions, etc.)
  • Read and interpret installation instructions, floorplans, and technical drawings
  • Deliver furniture to client sites with care and professionalism
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly used and maintained

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with furniture assembly or general carpentry/installation work is an asset
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50 lbs+)
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 5); access to reliable transportation is an asset
  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime
  • WHMIS and First Aid certification are assets (training can be provided)
  • Subject to a Criminal Record Check
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract
