Commercial Property Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee our retail and office complex. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in customer relationship management, leasing, marketing and property management. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining property standards, enhancing tenant satisfaction, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Property Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants while managing administrative tasks and property-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet tenant needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee lease agreements, renewals, and negotiations to maximize occupancy rates.
  • Coordinate property maintenance activities through effective use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocols.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repairs, maintenance, and improvements to properties.
  • Prepare budgets, financial reports, and forecasts related to property management operations.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants while maintaining current occupancy levels.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial property management or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively manage relationships with tenants.
  • Excellent leasing skills with a focus on negotiation and closing deals.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks including data entry and record keeping.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
