The Role:

Due to continued expansion, Eco Energy Improvements is seeking to recruit an experienced Commercial Sales Executive to develop corporate sales of Solar PV systems in the North Leinster region & Dublin, based in Dundalk, County Louth.

Working with the administration team - the candidate will be responsible for lead development and initial surveys through to quote provision and sales development.

Position Overview

The Commercial Solar Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving new business, building strong customer relationships, and guiding clients through the process of switching to solar energy. This position requires an individual with an understanding of solar energy solutions, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. The successful candidate will be results-oriented, proactive, and enthusiastic about renewable energy and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and basic quotation provision
  • Provide Technical solar advice to clients (Design, products, pricing)
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the solar installation process, addressing questions, and resolving any concerns promptly.
  • Closing sales and handover to the installation team
  • Work closely with our installation team and customer support to ensure seamless installation and excellent post-installation support.
  • Identify new business solar opportunities, including possible growth areas and emerging markets.
  • Understanding of the SEAI & ESB guidelines

You will have / learn the following skills and aptitude:

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and project management skills
  • Knowledge of commercial solar guidelines for SEAI and NC applications to the ESB Networks
  • Be a highly committed, driven dedicated and assertive individual
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, with initiative, delivering against targets.
  • Have the ability to create, compose and edit written materials, appropriate to the role
  • Hold a valid driving license, as the role will require travelling to client
