Communications Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in implementing communication strategies to promote the Foundation’s programs, advocacies, and milestone events, based on the communications framework and guidance of the Communications Officer.

2. Write and publish a wide range of contents for:

o Website o Social media platforms

o Press releases, features, and media statements

3. Maintain and regularly update the Foundation’s official website and social media platforms to reflect accurate, timely content aligned with thematic priorities.

4. Develop and manage a detailed content calendar in coordination with the Communications Officer, ensuring consistent and timely dissemination of messages.

5. Contribute as technical writer for communication materials and internal publications.

6. Design and produce visual and multimedia content, including brochures, posters, AVPs, infographics, and videos.

7. Provide coverage (photo, video, live updates) and documentation of key Foundation activities such as:

o National and diocesan Pondo ng Pinoy anniversaries o Beneficiary stories and project launches o School and parish engagement activities

9. Coordinate AVP production and media coverage for key events (e.g., press conferences, milestone projects).

10. Support the day-to-day production of the Pondo ng Pinoy Radio Program, in close coordination with the Communications Officer:

o Preparing scripts o Coordinating guest appearances

o Submitting monitoring and evaluation reports

11. Provide technical and logistical support for promotional activities, meetings, and trainings

12. Liaise with diocesan communication teams, external creatives, and media contacts for collaborative communication projects, under the supervision of the Communications Officer.

13. Track and report performance of content (e.g., social media engagement, reach, feedback) and compile data for reporting and improvement of communication efforts.

14. Perform other communication-related tasks that may be assigned by the Communications Officer to ensure smooth and impactful execution of campaigns.

Job Type: Fixed term
Contract length: 3 months
