Concrete Pump Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, particularly in concrete pumping, and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of concrete at various construction sites. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals to meet project deadlines.

Duties

• Operate concrete pump equipment on construction sites, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to determine concrete delivery requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on pumping equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage the flow of concrete from the mixer to the designated areas, ensuring accuracy in placement.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, including operation of loaders and dump trucks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise, utilizing strong mechanical knowledge for effective problem-solving.
• Collaborate with other trades on-site, including those involved in concrete forming and finishing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in concrete pumping or related heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
• Experience in construction site operations, including understanding safety protocols.
• Ability to operate loaders, concrete mixers, dump trucks, and other heavy machinery effectively.
• Physical capability to dig, lift, and move materials as required on-site.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
• A valid driver's license is preferred; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
