Job Description: Project Coordinator

Harbour Hills is an ICI construction company located in Hamilton Ontario, focused on commercial construction. We are seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

● Order materials and coordinate delivery to job site

● Schedule crew members on a weekly basis - updated daily, as needed

● Plan & prepare project schedules under Project Mangers’ guidance

● Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors on jobsites

● Project folder organization and document updating

● Work closely with Site Superintendent to monitor and track progress on projects

● Schedule recurring project update meetings with various stakeholders & record meeting minutes

● Support Project Manager with estimating costs for new business bids (RFQ’s)

● Respond to any RFI’s that come in from subcontractors

● Oversee subcontractor and material costs, ensuring projects remain within budget

● Ability to read and understand construction drawings

● Communicating with clients: advising of scheduling, requesting information as needed, and seeking signoff for contract changes/change orders

Is this the right role for you?

● Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, project management, business administration or related field

● Minimum 2 year of experience as a Project Coordinator in the ICI construction industry or related field

● Working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software

● Advanced knowledge of MS Office; experience with project management software Procore, preferred

● Strong organizational skills and ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities; have an acute attention to detail

● Highly developed communication skills – both written and oral

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

  • Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Commercial Construction in Ontario: 3 years (required)
  • Project Coordination in Ontario: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
