Construction Site Superintendent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients, and project managers.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and laborers to ensure efficient workflow and quality workmanship.
• Utilize ProCore, Sitedocs, and other construction management software to track project progress, manage schedules, and document safety.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project drawings and safety requirements.
• Awareness of construction estimates and budgets, monitoring expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project timelines and milestones, adjusting as necessary based on site conditions.
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project status, changes, and any issues that arise during construction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality control measures, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using construction management software for project documentation and collaboration.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction activities.
• Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team building and conflict resolution.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members at all levels.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
