Are you a natural storyteller with an eye for design and a passion for gender equality? AWARE is seeking a Content Creator to join our Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how the public understands gender issues in Singapore—and to bring AWARE’s mission to life across multiple platforms.
About the Role
As Content Creator, you will be part of a small but dynamic team that leads AWARE’s outreach and public engagement. You’ll craft compelling content, create visuals and videos, and support campaigns that mobilise the public around gender equality and social justice. Your work will ensure that AWARE’s research, services and advocacy reach the audiences that need to hear them.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop thoughtful, timely content for social media, website, newsletters and other platforms
- Draft press releases, campaign copy and outreach materials
- Create eye-catching visuals using Canva (or similar tools)
- Support video content production — especially short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram
- Monitor media coverage and track social media performance
- Work closely with advocacy, programmes and fundraising teams to bring stories to life
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of working experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field
- Strong writing skills, with attention to tone, clarity and purpose
- A creative eye for visuals and comfort with tools like Canva
- Some experience producing video content for social platforms
- Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok
- Collaborative, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
- Commitment to gender equality, social justice and inclusive storytelling
