Content Creator & Marketing Specialist

CONTENT CREATOR & MARKETING SPECIALIST | AMUSEMENT CITY DUBLIN

About Amusement City Dublin

Amusement City Dublin is a premier entertainment destination in the heart of Dublin city centre. We offer guests an exceptional gaming experience in an atmosphere that is energetic, sophisticated, and unlike anywhere else in the city.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented, hands-on Content Creator & Marketing Specialist who loves making things. You will be the person who actually produces the content, builds the campaigns, and gets things out into the world — online, in-venue, and across the city.

You will be on the floor with your phone or camera, behind your laptop editing reels, writing captions, designing promotional materials, and making sure Amusement City looks and sounds brilliant across every channel. At the same time, you will bring enough commercial and creative awareness to contribute to how the brand is positioned and who we are speaking to — helping shape the direction as well as delivering it.

If you are a natural creative who gets things done, takes pride in quality, and wants real ownership of a brand with genuine personality — this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Shoot, edit, and publish short-form video content and photography across Instagram and TikTok — capturing the energy, atmosphere, and personality of the venue in a way that is authentic, engaging, and consistently on-brand.
  • Develop and manage a monthly content calendar, ensuring a regular and varied posting cadence aligned to promotions, events, and key business moments.
  • Stay on top of platform trends, sounds, and formats — bringing fresh ideas to the content mix proactively and consistently.
  • Manage community engagement across all social channels — responding to comments, DMs, and mentions promptly and in the right tone.

Copywriting

  • Write sharp, on-brand copy across all formats — social captions, promotional posts, stories, reels, in-venue signage, digital screens, and printed collateral.
  • Adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and channels while keeping the brand voice consistent throughout.
  • Support email and CRM campaign copy when required, working with the wider team to ensure all guest communications feel joined-up.

Campaigns & Advertising

  • Plan and deliver marketing campaigns tied to key promotions, events, and seasonal moments — across social, in-venue, and out-of-home channels.
  • Develop and manage in-venue marketing materials — digital screens, signage, posters, menus, and printed collateral — ensuring everything is always current, on-brand, and visually strong.
  • Identify and execute local out-of-home advertising opportunities in and around Dublin city centre to build awareness and drive footfall.
  • Support paid digital advertising activity — briefing or running Meta or Google ad campaigns where relevant.
  • Brief external suppliers, printers, or designers where needed and manage those relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Brand & Positioning

  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Amusement City's target customer segments and ensure all content and campaigns speak directly to them.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the brand's tone of voice, visual identity, and positioning — feeding ideas and observations into strategic conversations with senior leadership.
  • Ensure consistency across every brand touchpoint — online, in-venue, and out-of-home — so that Amusement City always looks and feels like itself.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and report on content and campaign performance across all channels, providing clear and regular updates to management.
  • Use data to improve — doubling down on what resonates and refining what doesn't.

Cross-Venue Support

  • Support content and campaign activity at our sister venue, Playland Dublin, ensuring a consistent group standard while maintaining each venue's individual identity.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on content creation across Instagram and TikTok — video, photography, and copy.
  • Confident short-form video production skills — you can pick up a phone or camera, capture the moment, and turn it into something worth watching.
  • Strong copywriting ability with a natural feel for brand voice and audience.
  • Experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated — you manage your own time, hit your deadlines, and don't need to be chased.
  • Comfortable being on-site regularly in a live, busy venue environment.
  • A genuine creative eye and pride in producing high-quality work.

Desirable

  • Experience in hospitality, entertainment, nightlife, or a consumer lifestyle brand.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or equivalent editing tools.
  • Experience with paid social or digital advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Brevo, Klaviyo, or similar).
  • An interest in or awareness of brand strategy and audience targeting.
