Position Summary

As a Content Writer / Digital Marketing Lead at Speed Commerce, your role will be leading the team (both administratively and creatively) to write high quality articles and blogs that will be pivotal in driving organic traffic and boosting brand visibility. A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in the field and a degree in Journalism or English is required.

Tasks / Objectives

• Content Creation: Create well-researched and engaging articles, catering to the correct target audience.
• Proofreading: Reviewing articles from multiple sources to ensure each article is succinct, grammatically correct, and focused on the correct audience.
• Guest Blogging: Secure guest blogging opportunities on reputable websites.
• PR Articles: Craft and distribute press releases to generate media coverage and increase brand awareness for our clients.
• Comparison Landing Page Articles: Create comparison articles for landing pages regularly, pitting our products against our competitors.

Required Skills / Abilities

• 3-5 years of proven experience in content writing, blog research, or article creation with at least 1 year of hands-on leadership experience in the field.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team while being a top performer on the team.
• University Degree in Journalism or English required.
• Experience uploading content and distribution, with a knack for strategy and creative writing.
• A data-driven approach, capable of analyzing data and making informed decisions.
• Ability to blend creativity with analytics to create engaging and high-quality content.
• Adaptability to stay updated with the ever-changing eCommerce landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Team player, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
