Cater Plus partners with Woolworths to deliver high quality food services in a fast paced retail environment. We are currently looking for a Cook / Experienced Catering Assistant to join our kitchen team at Woolworths PNDC.
Based at a Woolworths Palmerston North, this role is sole charge and involves supporting daily food preparation and cooking requirements while maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.
This is a permanent role with a consistent roster, ideal for someone who enjoys structured hours and working in a commercial kitchen setting.

- Assisting with cooking and food preparation to Woolworths standards
- Supporting daily production requirements in a commercial kitchen
- Preparing, handling, and storing food safely
- Plating, packing, and presenting food to specification
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Completing dishes and general kitchen duties
- Following all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have previous experience as a Cook or experienced Catering Assistant
- Be comfortable working in a fast paced commercial kitchen environment
- Have a practical understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Be reliable, organised, and able to work set rosters
- Be able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in producing consistent, high quality food
