Contexte:
The role of international technical coordinator at bid stage reports to the Best-shoring stream which promotes the use of the international production to maximise synergies between the different Business Units / Engineering Centers of the Group to:
In addition to tender activities, the technical coordinator at bid stage will contribute to transversal Best-shoring activities such as (not exhaustive):
Contexte
Following the new international organization of SYSTRA, a transverse department Technical and Operations Performance (TOP) has been created to:
- ensure a competitive, profitable, and resilient delivery model (here after called “Best-shoring”),
- empower project teams to deliver project excellence,
- strengthen a culture of technical excellence in both core and adjacent businesses,
- foster use of new digital engineering technologies to improve efficiency and performance,
- maintain our position at the forefront of innovation in infrastructure engineering.
The role of international technical coordinator at bid stage reports to the Best-shoring stream which promotes the use of the international production to maximise synergies between the different Business Units / Engineering Centers of the Group to:
- Position SYSTRA in adequation with SYSTRA Group portfolio of services
- Achieve the level of quality expected by the Group in delivery (“Technical excellence”)
- Better manage the Group workload
- Boost profitability in delivery
- Maximise hours of production when required on project (“24 hours model”)
Missions
The main missions of the international technical coordinator at bid stage are:
- Kick-off meeting with the BU leading the opportunity to agree on respective roles, bid context (competitiveness, clients’ information, bid schedule, …)
- Analysis of RFP and production of a WBS
- Proposal of international production model to the Best-shoring partners
- Support the Best-shoring partners in the preparation of “Top-Down cost estimate” (prepared within TOP)
- Coordination with the production centres of the main bid assumptions:
- Scope gap analysis
- Detailed RACI matrix between the production centres and the front-office
- Inputs
- Exclusions
- Technical risk analysis and estimation of contingencies in input to the Leading BU
- Coordination, consolidation and optimisation of the back-office costing
- Contribution to the preparation of Governance meetings.
In addition to tender activities, the technical coordinator at bid stage will contribute to transversal Best-shoring activities such as (not exhaustive):
- Contribution and consolidation of a pipeline of international production opportunities
- Review of Best-shoring data in the Group CRM tool Cview
- Coordination of intercompany sales quarterly budget reviews
- Contribution to the preparation of internal meetings.
The perimeter covered all the international Business Units (BU).
The working language is English (Fluent expected).
Profil/Compétences :
The working language is English (Fluent expected).
Required profile
- Education: Bac+5 in Engineering or Business School.
- Number of years of experience: minimum between 5 and 8 years of experience.
- Technical skills: Power BI; Excel, Office 365;
- Language skills: good command of English.
- Personal qualities: rigor, responsiveness, organization, proactivity, curiosity and desire to work in a multicultural team.
