Your Impact:

1House is Asahi Beverages in-house creative agency based in Parnell. It was created to support some of New Zealand’s most loved alcohol brands including Asahi, Hard Rated, Brookvale Union and many more within the Asahi Beverages portfolio. As a copywriter at 1House, you’ll be an integral part of the team helping make people experience and choose our brands more.

As a Copywriter you live and breathe big social ideas and love what creativity can do. You’re a non-traditional thinker who loves words and thrives in the digital world. But equally can bring ideas to life in any medium. You love problem solving and always know what’s trending on social.

You’re proactive and take ownership of your work and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You communicate your ideas confidently and effectively. You take pride in your work from initial concept to finished execution and are happy to work independently as well as collaborate with an art director and social content creators on projects.

You’re a team player who enjoys working alongside strategists, project managers and the production team to create brilliant work. And you’re always keen to listen and learn from those around you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solves briefs with socially led integrated thinking
• Works closely with art directors, social content creators and production teams
• Creating content for the Brand content calendars
• Understanding Meta and Tik Tok best practice
• Presenting confidentially and effectively
• Provide brilliant social first ideas
• Exceptional written skills that brings the brand’s tone of voice to life and has excellent spelling and grammar
• Take ideas and craft them from concept to final execution

About You:

• 2+ years’ experience in agency, creative studio or in-house copywriting roles
• Creative Degree a bonus
• Alcohol/non-alcohol drinks experience a bonus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time management skills
