Job Summary:
The Corporate Accounting Analyst supports the accurate recording, analysis, and reporting of corporate financial information in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role is an integral part of the month end, quarter-end and year-end close processes and is responsible for preparing journal entries, performing balance sheet account reconciliations, and completing account fluctuation analyses. The Corporate Accounting Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, and Operations to ensure financial accuracy, strong internal controls, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can identify issues, recommend improvements, and follow items through to resolution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Starting Wage: $58,461.98 - $77,126.78

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, including accounts impacted by foreign currency, and investigate and resolve reconciling items
- Prepare journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Prepare fluctuation analyses and provide explanations for material variances
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring adherence to close timelines
- Analyze complex accounting transactions and assist with proper accounting treatment and documentation
- Partner with other internal teams to support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Assist in the preparation of audit materials, perform quarterly certifications (EUCs), and respond to internal and external audit requests to support SOX compliance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization to increase efficiency and control
- Support accounting projects, system implementations, and process changes as needed
- Maintain strong internal controls and contribute to the continuous enhancement of accounting policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements
- Experience with month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; intermediate Excel skills are required
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment
- Experience in systems such as Blackline, QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or equivalent ERP is preferred
- Prior experience in public accounting or a corporate environment is a plus
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $58,461.98 - $77,126.78. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
