Vetzoo is the leading local e-commerce company for pet care in Sweden and Norway. Founded in 2010, it has grown from a single store in Gothenburg to a trusted online destination for pet parents. To create an even better experience for our customers, we’re opening a brand-new, full-service megastore in Kungens Kurva.
The Country Responsible Store Manager leads all Vetzoo stores in their country and is responsible for the profitability and performance of the store network. In addition to managing their own store as a Store Manager, the role supports and supervises other Store Managers, develops common processes, and ensures a strong customer-focused culture and target achievement across all stores.
Key responsibilities
Lead and develop the Pureplay store network on a country level, with full responsibility for sales, profitability, and KPIs
Manage your own store team and support, coach, and supervise Store Managers
Ensure consistent operational excellence, customer experience, and brand execution across all stores
Set targets, follow up performance, and drive action plans and improvements together with Store Managers

What are we looking for
You are an inspiring, hands-on leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for retail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy developing people and processes, and lead by example—both on the shop floor and across the store network. A genuine love for animals and a focus on creating great customer experiences come naturally to you.
Experienced in leading people and driving performance
Commercially minded, with a track record of meeting targets, KPIs, and profitability goals
Background in retail or other customer-focused environments
Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented
Confident communicator who can motivate, coach, and grow teams
Able to see the big picture and manage multiple stores or larger operations
Fluent in spoken and written English
With us you’ll get
A key role in a profitable and growing company with a strong and trusted brand
Diverse and inspiring work in a fast-evolving business within one of the leading pet retail chains
The opportunity to influence and develop both your own work and the wider store network
A role that combines independence with close collaboration with multiple stakeholders
Flexible working hours (days, evenings, and weekends according to schedule)
Start date by agreement
