Creative Content Writer/ Editor

Job Summary:

A New York based software company is looking for a talented Content Writer to create compelling blog posts, promotional campaigns, social media content, web copies that will help the company to attract and engage customers.All candidates will be required to submit writing samples. Interviews will be virtually. Perfect for Freelancers/students and who have experience in creative copy writing.

Duration: Part time- flexible hours.

Work Mode: Remote

Responsibilities:

*Content Creation: Produce diverse content including blog posts, articles, social media updates, press releases, newsletters, and more.
* Website Content Writing: Develop and optimize engaging and informative content for our website, including product/service descriptions, landing pages, and "About Us" sections, to enhance user experience and SEO.
* Proofreading & Editing: Meticulously proofread and edit all content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, accuracy, and brand consistency, ensuring a high standard of quality.
* Creative SEO/Marketing Content: Generate innovative and strategic content ideas designed to improve search engine rankings, drive traffic, and support broader marketing campaigns. This includes keyword research integration and understanding of SEO best practices.
* Content Strategy Contribution: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new content ideas, identify trends, and develop content strategies that align with business objectives.
* Research: Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
* Brand Voice Maintenance: Ensure all content adheres to our brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Arts, English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role (1-3 years preferred).
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for a variety of audiences and platforms.
* Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
* Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and collaborative tools.
* Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Creativity and a proactive approach to generating new ideas.

Preferred Skills:
* Experience with [mention specific tools, e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, WordPress]
* Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
* Portfolio of published work is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

Work Location: Remote
