About The International Credit & Collections (ICC) team
The ICC team helps keep American Express (Amex) financially strong by maximizing collections, minimizing the risk of losses, and enabling spend to the right Card Members, while delivering outstanding customer experiences in every interaction.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing and delivering exceptional service to our Consumer & Small Business segment across Australia and New Zealand. This phone-based role plays a critical part in upholding our commitment to outstanding customer service, while also ensuring adherence to credit policies and minimising financial risk.
We’ll support your success from day one with a structured training program, followed by ongoing development and guidance.
What your responsibilities will include
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing account-related inquiries and concerns.
- Assess and understand customers’ financial circumstances to offer suitable hardship solutions.
- Monitor and manage assigned accounts, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.
- Ensure all collection activities are thoroughly and accurately recorded in the Amex systems.
- Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed on policies, procedures, and best practices.
