Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Services Representative on a fixed term contract to cover parental leave. You will be based in New Plymouth, provide full support to the New Zealand Territory Management team, and be the first point of contact for all designated customers either by phone or in person. In this role you will be a key link between our manufacturing, logistics and sales teams, enabling us to meet customer demand on time and with exceptional quality. Your proactive problem-solving and great communication skills will contribute to our commitment to service excellence.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Prompt and efficient processing of customer orders, requests, arranging product deliveries, ensuring customers are correctly charged and payments are processed accurately.
  • Maintain inventory levels in all offsite plants accurately and liaise with manufacturing sites for logistics and daily dispatches and completion of all relevant logistics documentation.
  • Complete purchase orders and goods receipt documentation for material confirmed as received into Plants.
  • Being steward for all intercompany purchases and ensuring prompt an efficient dispatch of requested products. Liaising with intercompany contacts to provide correct information on goods availability and timing.
  • Provide full and proper administrative support and reports to the NZ Territory Management team as required.
  • Generate monthly stock takes for consignment customers, reconcile and invoice stocks accurately. Arrange stock replenishment deliveries to the customers.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office, including Work, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and excellent time management skills
  • Trustworthy, reliable and the ability to self-motivate and work autonomously
  • A base knowledge of SAP or similar ERP would be desirable
  • Experience with inventory management principles and related business processes
