Job Title: Data Analyst (Financial Reporting & Modeling)

Location: SM North Edsa - Tower 1

Working Hours: M–F | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Timezone

Overview

As a Data Analyst, you will take an active role in monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting versus actuals analysis, forecasting, and projections. This is a data mining position requiring strong analytical skills and advanced technical proficiency in Excel and Power BI. The role involves pulling, scrubbing, validating, and analyzing large datasets to support financial decision-making and executive reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform revenue and margin analysis to identify trends in profitability (customer/project/region)
• Develop price/volume models to support customer bids and RFPs
• Conduct budgeting vs. actuals analysis, forecasting, and projections
• Analyze precision and accuracy of revenue and cost budgets (percentage of completion recognition)
• Pull, scrub, validate, and consolidate large datasets from multiple systems
• Build and maintain Excel-based financial models and reporting templates
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting for regional leaders and executive management
• Support reporting in Vena (financial planning software)
• Develop dashboards using Power BI
• Utilize Oracle/Hyperion for system-generated reporting and automation
• Create executive-ready PowerPoint presentations
• Identify data inconsistencies and proactively resolve issues
• Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy across all deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics.
• 4+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data cleaning.
• Experience with Power BI, including dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Strong PowerPoint skills with executive-level presentation formatting.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends.
• Experience in the telecommunications or construction industry is a plus.
• Technical proficiency in Oracle and Hyperion is a plus.
• Strong initiative, dedication, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
