Data Analyst Intern (Contract Based)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Preparation:
• Assist in gathering and organizing data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Clean and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis, employing data cleaning techniques and tools.
• Data Analysis:
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within datasets.
• Apply statistical methods and data visualization techniques to uncover insights and present findings effectively.
• Report Generation and Presentation:
• Assist in creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate analytical results to stakeholders.
• Present findings and recommendations to the team, highlighting key insights derived from the data analysis.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support (ROA, INDIA, CHINA, ANZ, KR, JP).
• Assist in developing data-driven solutions and strategies to address business challenges.
• Research and Stay Updated:
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics.
• Conduct research on new data analysis tools and techniques, making recommendations for their adoption.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, R, SQL, or Excel.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and methodologies for data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prior experience or coursework in data analysis or related fields is a plus.
