Job Family Definition:

Designs, develops and applies programs, methodologies and systems based on advanced analytic models (e.g. advanced statistics, operations research, computer science, process) to transform structured and unstructured data into meaningful and actionable information insights that drive decision making.

Uses visualization techniques to translate analytic insights into understandable business stories (eg. descriptive, inferential and predictive insights).

Embeds analytics into client’s business processes and applications. Combines business acumen and scientific methods to solve business problems.


The Data Analyst Intern will apply basic knowledge of the job skills and company policies and procedures to be part of the analysis and validation of data sets, solutions, and the end-user experience. This intern will aid in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a client's metadata based on analytic objectives. This intern will load data into the infrastructure and contribute to the creation of the hypothesis matrix and prepare a portion of the data for the Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)/hypotheses.
Develop good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are routine to moderately complex in nature and require basic problem resolution, such as contribute to building models for the overall solution, validating results and performance, and selecting the model that supports the overall solution, will support the research, identification, and delivery of data science solutions to problems. And will support the visualization of the model's insights, user experience, and configuration tools for the analytics model. Receives general instructions on all work.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Hourly: $28.50 - $34.50
