Overview of job

Choreograph, a WPP company, is seeking a Intern within our high performing Analytics & Insights Asia Pacific delivery unit. Analytics & Insights is Choreograph’s advanced analytics team which helps analyse and optimise our clients’ marketing strategies. Choreograph Analytics & Insights is a global team with centres of excellence in Western & Central Europe, North & South America, and Asia Pacific. The role would be based out of our Asia Pacific centre in Singapore and cover multiple markets across the region.

This role reports to the Manager level within Choreograph APAC Analytics & Insights [Delivery] team

Measures of success –

In one month, you would have:

You will be familiar with Choreograph’s services and tools
Understand our value proposition and your role within the team

In three months, you would have:

Learned how to contribute to the delivery a substantial advanced analytics project
Have shown initiative in sell learning of existing products and/or processes

In 6 months, you would have:

Deliver consistent accurate Reporting output
Have a deeper understanding for our clients business
Worked with your senior team members to ensure our Insights & recommendations are aligned and actioned for real world business impact

Responsibilities:

Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preparation of data from various sources.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
Create compelling data visualizations using tools like [Specify Visualization Tools e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn] to communicate insights effectively.
Contribute to the development and implementation of data-driven solutions using Python.
Assist in the deployment and maintenance of data pipelines on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Document data processes, methodologies, and findings.
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics.

Required Skills:

SQL: Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to create informative and engaging visuals.
Cloud: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data-related services.
Python: Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
Programming: Solid understanding of programming concepts and ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Insights Generation: Ability to analyze data, identify key trends, and generate actionable insights.
Data Exploration: Experience in exploring and understanding data sets, identifying data quality issues, and preparing data for analysis.
Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Good to have:

Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
Experience with data warehousing concepts.
Knowledge of statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
