Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and operate enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines. In this role, you’ll work side by side with business stakeholders, program managers and data scientists to create a robust and scalable data ecosystem. Your work will power analytics, reporting and machine learning across the organization, making a real impact on key strategic initiatives built on our Global Data Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain datasets and end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring high data quality, reliability and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders and program management to co-create the enterprise data strategy and common data model
• Implement and operate modern data platforms, transformative data processes and reusable data services
• Build, test and optimize data pipelines and structures that support data scientists and analytics teams, including machine learning workloads
• Model and govern JSON-based schemas and metadata using centralized tools to ensure consistency and reuse
• Troubleshoot, resolve and proactively prevent data-related issues across the data lifecycle
• Support enterprise reporting, advanced analytics and data science use cases
• Contribute to Agile delivery and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Strong background in building or designing large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Big Data and open-source technologies such as S3, Hive, Spark, Trino, Kafka, Kubernetes and MinIO
• Proven experience in heterogeneous business and technology environments with strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience in large-scale data migration projects, especially involving on-premise data lakes
• Hands-on experience integrating data science workbench platforms such as KNIME, Cloudera or Dataiku
• Solid track record working in Agile environments using frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe
