Data Entry Internship

Job Description

We are looking for Data Entry Specialists who are interested in a paid internship to help us add content to our website and point of sale system. This is a great opportunity to gain relevant work experience for somebody pursuing a career in digital marketing, social media or eCommerce. We are adding more content to our website to improve our search engine optimization to drive traffic and increase online sales.

This is an important project that we hope to complete within a couple of months. The goal is to create a best in class website with incredible content that makes it easy for our customers to make a buying decision or to find our products through search engines. While this is a temporary internship, there is an opportunity for the right candidate to be offered a full time permanent position with our company.

The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. You will report to a data manager or another senior team member.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into website or database systems using keyboard
• Type in data provided accurately
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Update existing data
• Follow provided guidelines to ensure proper display of data

Skills

• Good typing skills
• Knowledge of word processing tools (MS Word, Google Docs, etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
• Good command of English both oral and written
• Great attention to detail
• SEO or digital marketing experience or field of study a plus
• HTML and CSS experience a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Wichita, KS 67226: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
