Daycare Teacher Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for children. This position involves engaging with preschool-aged children, fostering their development through structured activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.

Duties

• Educate children through age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Supervise daily activities, ensuring the safety of all children in the daycare setting.
• Provide caregiving support, including meal preparation, diaper changes, and personal hygiene assistance as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational program that meets the needs of all children.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to provide a safe and inviting space for learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills to effectively engage and guide young learners.
• Background in caregiving, babysitting, or nannying is beneficial.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus; certification may be required.
• A genuine love for children and a commitment to their development and well-being.
• Ability to create fun and educational activities that stimulate children's curiosity and creativity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
