Delivery Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Delivery Coordinator to oversee daily delivery operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate routes, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, experience with warehouse equipment, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. The Delivery Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth logistics and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timely service.
• Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling methods.
• Operate box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission for route driving.
• Safely load, secure, and transport products to various customer locations.
• Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock movement.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience.
• Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to loading/unloading goods.
• Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management is desirable.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
