Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and possess the necessary skills to operate delivery vehicles effectively.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients upon delivery.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and forklifts is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for basic vehicle maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing delivery schedules.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and navigate various terrains as needed during deliveries.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.

Pay: $17.85-$38.48 per hour
