Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. My company contracts to deliver packages under FedEx Ground. My contracted area consists of Sequim, Port Angeles, Forks, and Clallam Bay/Neah Bay. All drivers start and end their day at the Fedex Building in Port Angeles. Our delivery vehicles range from cargo vans to 26' box trucks. Delivery experience is not necessary we will train you.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload products efficiently.
• Navigate assigned routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
• Utilize equipment such as scanners and hand trucks

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Must pass preemployment drug screen and random drug tests
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods with a provided hand truck as required.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
