What you will do:
As our Demand & Supply Planner (1 year contract maternity cover), you will be managing commercially the TFPP Purchasing / Demand Planning for assigned SBUs incorporating purchases from local and overseas suppliers.
How you will do it:
Review materials purchase report and place weekly PO
Ensure purchases are in line with anticipated forecasts and expedite past due Pos.
Translate estimated delivery date committed by supplier in ERP system (SAP)
Coordinate closely with various key stakeholders to meet customers’ expectations and requirements
Active participation in demand planning inventory related meetings and forums
Gather, develop, analyses and validate data used in preparing forecasts.
(50%) Drive forecast collection from Sales for finished goods (FG) and translate demand into raw material (RM) purchasing/build requirements to support FG availability.
Pro-active contribution towards achieving inventory goals, OTD and several KPIs.
Work with customer service and sales to provide accurate delivery status .
Support Ad-hoc reporting, when required.
What we look for:
A tertiary degree in Business / Operations or related field.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Preferably candidates who has experience working on production and materials planning
MUST HAVE: Proven experience translating finished goods (FG) forecasts into raw material (RM) requirements (BOM/production & materials planning) and executing purchasing plans accordingly.
MUST HAVE: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Word.
Knowledge on SQL will be an added advantage.
SAP/Pronto experience.
