Dental Assistant / Sterilization Technician – Endodontic Specialty Practice

We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant / Sterilization Technician who enjoys working in a team environment and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.

This role will initially focus on instrument sterilization, operatory turnover, and clinical support, with opportunities to grow into assisting during procedures as experience develops.

Many of our patients arrive anxious or in discomfort, so we especially value team members who are calm, attentive, and naturally reassuring with patients.

We are hoping to find someone interested in building a long-term role within the practice and becoming an integral member of our clinical team. This position is best suited for someone looking for career stability and professional growth, rather than a short-term role before graduate school.

Because many of our patients speak Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are strongly preferred.

Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrument sterilization and maintain sterilization protocols
• Turn over operatories efficiently between patients
• Maintain strict infection control procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures
• Assist the doctor during procedures as training and experience develop
• Take dental radiographs when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment
• Support efficient clinical flow throughout the day
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed during treatment

Required Qualifications

• Infection Control certification
• Radiation Safety certification
• Bloodborne Pathogens training
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
• Experience in dental assisting or sterilization
• Experience in endodontics or specialty dentistry
• Chinese language skills (Mandarin or Cantonese)

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
