We’re looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and motivated individual to join the team at UFS Dental Care as a Dental Assistant Trainee – and we’ll invest in you every step of the way.

What the Traineeship Looks Like

As part of this role, you’ll be enrolled in a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (HLT35021) and complete a paid, part-time traineeship over 2 years, working Monday to Thursday alongside our experienced dentist and support team.

You’ll earn while you learn, gaining hands-on clinical experience and a nationally recognised qualification – no prior experience in dentistry required. Just the right attitude.

Day-to-day you’ll be:

• Assisting our dentist during procedures and patient appointments

• Preparing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

• Supporting infection control and sterilisation protocols

• Welcoming and caring for patients throughout their visit

• Helping with practice administration and patient records

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need a dental background – we’ll teach you everything. But you do need:

• A genuine passion for healthcare and helping people

• A warm, professional manner with patients of all ages

• Reliability and commitment – this is a 2-year traineeship, and we’re investing in you

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A willingness to learn and take direction

• Completion of Year 10 or above
