Integrated Family Dentistry, led by Dr. Mercedes R. Del Valle, DDS, FAGD, MIDIA is seeking a motivated and compassionate EFDA Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered, single-doctor private practice. We have proudly served the Eugene community for over 30 years, and many of our patients are Spanish-speaking—we strive to make every visit comfortable, respectful, and supportive.

Requirements

• EFDA Dental Assistant
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Proficiency in taking X-rays
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Knowledge of back-office procedures & instrumentation
• Positive attitude, initiative, team-player, and great energy
• Willingness to travel for continuing education courses

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments
• Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Support clinical flow and help keep the day running smoothly

Skills

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Experience assisting in a variety of dental procedures
• Ability to take vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
