Dental Assistant/Receptionist

Are you an experienced Dental Nurse who also enjoys patient interaction and front desk responsibilities? We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and patient-focused professional to join our growing clinic in Windsor.

This is a unique full-time role where you will play a key part in managing a single-chair, high-quality dental practice, working closely with the principal dentist and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.

About the Role

This is a dual-role position combining chairside dental assisting and front desk/reception duties, with an element of treatment coordination.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist during procedures (general, restorative, and surgical)
• Infection control and sterilisation (in line with Australian standards)
• Managing appointments, recalls, and patient records
• Greeting patients and delivering a high level of customer service
• Discussing treatment plans, fees, and payment options with patients
• Coordinating cases and helping patients move forward with treatment
• Maintaining smooth day-to-day operation of a single-chair surgery

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1–2 years dental nursing experience
• Experience in dental reception (highly desirable)
• Confident in treatment coordination and patient communication
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role
• Familiarity with dental software (Dental4Windows or similar preferred)

Job Types: Temp to perm, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $25.17 – $37.60 per hour
