Job Summary
We are seeking a professional organized and experienced Front Desk Administrator to join and lead our friendly team.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office, providing exceptional to both staff and clients. This position requires a strong background and experience in dental receptionist and administrative tasks, excellent communication skills and familiarity with dental office environments. The Dental Receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining an efficient and welcoming environment for both patients and staff.
Knowledge in Paradigm dental software an asset.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival using electronic medical records systems such as Paradigm and Dentrix.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages accurately.
  • Verify patient insurance information, process payments, and handle billing procedures efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, update personal information, and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling to optimize the daily calendar.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and excellent service delivery.
  • Handle front desk duties including managing office supplies and maintaining a clean reception area.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office setting.
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Paradigm and Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare documentation.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a friendly professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
