Design & Construction Coordinator

Preferred:

• Architecture or Interior Design degree
• Construction & Project Management Experience
• Design/Build Experience
• Understanding of Architectural dwgs and Design Standards
• Ability to submit and track permit applications

Detailed Job Description:

• Assists with all phases of opening a restaurant, from lease signing through opening
• Responsible for maintaining a “Design & Construction Manual” that would be used for all new locations
• Site Visits (pre-construction, key decisions, final)
• Consults with partners to determine functionality and spatial requirements of new structures and/or renovations for new locations
• Prepares design plans, build-out specifications, estimated budget, schedule, and FF&E
• Resolves problems and complaints regarding construction and build-out process
• Organizes bids and awards architecture, construction, and equipment contracts
• Prepares project designs and plans using computer assigned design software
• Performs final quality assurance review of all documents and provides guidance/ approvals
• Opportunities for seminars and management training
• Project management of refurbishment and restaurant make-overs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
