Development And Production Intern (Television Production)

Job Description

The role reports to the Development and Production Manager and Head of the Department.

We are looking for someone who can join the team at entry level to aid in the creation and maintenance of the Company's development slate, in addition to support the upcoming series'. In terms of the development work, you are expected to find new angles/stories for potential programmes and aid in the research and design for new pitch decks. In terms of production, you will be working closely with the Producers and Crew to film and deliver new shows.

A qualification in Communications, Media Studies and or Writing would be favourable.

Responsibilities of the successful candidate:

1. Research material for potential programmes.

2. Elaborate copy and artwork for pitch decks and carry out feedback/comments from
the head of Development

3. Identify potential interviewees and contributors for programmes.

4. Maintain diary for development department and organize weekly meetings (record
minutes of these meetings)

5. Routinely organize and update the development slate and all relevant sales materials.

6. Liaising with producers on show development.

7. Supporting producers in the planning, filming and delivery of mini-series

8. Co-ordinate with editors in terms of the production schedules.

9. Liaise with third party contractors (ie. filming crew, sound mixers , online editors,
graphic designers etc...)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Glenageary, Dublin, CO. Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Advanced/Higher Certificate (preferred)
