WHO YOU ARE We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a DevOps Intern. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in the fast-growing field of DevOps. As a DevOps Intern, you will work closely with our DevOps team to assist in the development and implementation of our infrastructure, automation processes, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. You will have the chance to learn and apply cutting-edge technologies while contributing to the success of our projects. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and automation tools.
• Support the development and deployment of CI/CD pipelines for various software applications and services.
• Assist in the configuration and management of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and virtualization technologies.
• Participate in the monitoring and optimization of system performance, security, and availability.
• Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical issues, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software products.
• Research and evaluate new tools, technologies, and best practices related to DevOps and make recommendations for improvements.
• Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain a knowledge base.

POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line interfaces.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Exposure to version control systems like Git and understanding of branching and merging strategies.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and tools.
• This is an internship position with an expected duration of 6 months.
