We are looking for a passionate server who can work in a fast-paced environment with a pleasing personality and the ability to work in a team for our Dietary Department

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist in food preparation and serving meals to residents.
  • Ensure that all dietary restrictions are followed according to residents' needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Set up dining areas before meals and clean up after meals.
  • Support the dietary team in inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Document and monitor food intake for residents as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents to determine their food preferences and comfort levels.
  • Assist in training new dietary staff members as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • With food industry experience in a kitchen is a must
  • Food Handler Certification is a must
  • With no more than 2 jobs in a year or 12 months is a must
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or hospitality setting as a dietary aide/kitchen, or cook is a plus
  • Experienced Dietary Aide/Kitchen is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Previous experience as a Cook in a similar environment, ideally in an assisted living facility or healthcare setting is a plus
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary guidelines for seniors
  • Ability to prepare meals in accordance with specific dietary restrictions or special needs
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow dietary guidelines and instructions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient attitude towards residents and their needs.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
