Digital Health Delivery Lead / Technical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Digital Health Delivery Lead / Technical Project Manager that can deliver standards-based digital health solutions from plan to production in Switzerland.

Full-time • Hybrid

Hi there!

We are looking for an experienced digital health delivery and implementation lead to help us bring complex IT solutions into production for our clients in the Swiss healthcare sector. You will work closely with clinicians, architects, engineers, and customers to ensure that standards-based digital health solutions are successfully implemented and adopted in real clinical environments.

Your primary focus will be on steering the implementation of interoperable healthcare solutions from requirements and planning through go-live and stabilization. You will translate architectural concepts and standards into executable delivery plans, coordinate technical and organisational stakeholders, and ensure that solutions are delivered with quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

About us

At Trifork we love people who love what they do. If you are passionate about technology, you will feel right at home.

We are a team of more than 1200 dedicated people located primarily across Europe. Though it may sound big, we usually say that we are big in a small way. We organise in smaller business units (teal structure), meaning that you will be part of a small and personal team located in Switzerland.

Our ambition is to change the world with software and create solutions that make life easier for the users. Trifork is a preferred partner in digital health care, with an ever-burning passion for innovating, building, and running digital solutions that create value for health care professionals as well as end-users/patients.

We thrive in an open and honest atmosphere, where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth are key. Our agile, cross-functional teams work closely with customers, and you will primarily collaborate with colleagues in Switzerland, Palma (Mallorca) and Denmark.

Beyond work, we value our community—whether it’s sharing ideas over after-work drinks, celebrating milestones at team events, or enjoying time together at barbecues. We create an environment where everyone feels valued and included.

At Trifork, we create, learn, and grow—together.

About you

You are a digital health professional with a strong delivery mindset and a solid technical foundation. You have hands-on experience working in healthcare software projects and understand clinical settings such as hospitals or care providers. You are used to coordinating the implementation of complex systems in regulated environments. You understand what it takes to move from requirements and plans to working, high-quality solutions that are delivered on time and can be operated reliably.

You bring practical experience working with HL7 FHIR–based solutions in a Swiss healthcare context. You may not define standards yourself, but you understand them well enough to apply them correctly, work with architects and engineers, and ensure that implementations follow agreed guidelines.

You enjoy being close to delivery. You work with development teams, architects, customers, and external partners to keep projects moving, align expectations, and resolve issues early. You are comfortable translating requirements into actionable tasks, tracking progress, and helping teams navigate constraints around security, compliance, and interoperability.

You take responsibility for outcomes. You proactively identify risks, dependencies, and gaps, and you address them in a pragmatic way. You communicate clearly, keep stakeholders informed, and make sure decisions are documented and followed through.

You like working in interdisciplinary settings and feel comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, from developers and architects to clinicians, product owners, and customer representatives.

You speak and write both German and English fluently, and you’re able to be present in the Zurich area around 20–40% of the time to support customers, teams, and project activities.

What we look for

We’re looking for someone who can drive delivery and coordination of standards-based digital health projects and ensure solutions are implemented in a structured, transparent, and reliable way.

You bring:

  • Experience delivering healthcare software projects, including coordination of technical teams and external stakeholders

  • A solid understanding of digital health interoperability and regulated environments

  • A pragmatic, execution-focused mindset - focused on progress, quality, and realistic outcomes

  • Experience planning, tracking, and steering implementation work across multiple parties

  • The ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and support customers throughout delivery

  • Experience supporting go-lives, cutovers, and post-go-live stabilization of healthcare IT systems, including coordination of issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and operational handover.

Additionally, you bring either, some or all of the following:

  • Hands-on experience working with HL7 FHIR–based solutions in real projects

  • Exposure to Swiss implementation guides such as CH EPR / CH EPD, CH EMED, CH LAB, or CH VACD

  • Ability to communicate in French or Italian

Beyond technical and delivery skills, we value how you work:

  • You take ownership of delivery and follow through on commitments

  • You enjoy supporting teams and helping projects succeed

  • You contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented working environment

At Trifork, you’ll work closely with senior architects, engineers, and customers to turn standards-based designs into running systems, ensuring projects are delivered with quality, transparency, and real impact in the digital health space.
