For our Manufacturing Plant in Oss, The Netherlands, we are currently looking for a:
Director Supply Chain Management
The position
As a Director Supply Chain Management Organon Oss you will be responsible for the Supply Chain Performance of Organon, Oss. Main goal is to meet customer demand for those products supplied by Organon Oss. You will initiate and implement relevant improvements that result in meaningful impact in terms of operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will report into the Plant Manager, and you will act as a primary back-up for the Logistics Lead (and vice versa).
Responsibilities
- Determining the Site Supply Chain Strategy in line with Organon’s global processes.
- Identification of capacity constraints & supply and discard risks for the site and key suppliers on the short, mid and longer term and drive action plans to overcome these constraints.
- Optimization of the Organon Oss Supply Chain Performance (Customer Service, Inventory Level) using relevant metrics & reports.
- Site Relationship Lead supporting our Contract Manufacturing Organisation relationships.
- Maintenance of Supply Chain Master Data in relevant systems.
- Lead the total SCM Organization with strong leadership on performance management, talent management and strategic workforce planning.
Direct reports
- Logistics Lead (indirect 80 logistics operators & staff).
- 3 Planning Leads of the Production Leads (indirect 15-20 planners).
- Supply Chain Senior Specialist (responsible for standardized planning method, data, and tools).
- Admin.

Required Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Operations Management, Business administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualification.
- Strong people management skills with demonstrated results in a leadership position within a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical skills and data driven.
- Understanding of and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP) and supply chain demand & supply planning.
- Customer focused.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Relevant experience and/ or qualifications in risk management.
- At least 8 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated track record in leading change.
- Six Sigma and/ or Lean Leadership qualifications.
