We are looking for experienced, reliable and empathetic Support Worker who want to make a difference by supporting our participants in achieving their goals and living their best life.

We Empower is looking for support workers in Werribee and surrounding areas.

The role may involve:

• Assistance with community access and recreational activities
• Personal care (Personal hygiene assistance)
• Transportation and supporting social engagement
• Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
• Transfer using sling hoist

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Professional or lived experience supporting someone with a disability
• Experience supporting people with Mental Health and Complex Behaviours
• Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to We Empower.

Essential criteria:

• An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred support
• Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• The legal right to work in Australia
• Excellent communication skills
• A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $38.00 – $65.00 per hour
