We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning counters, floors, and surfaces.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and collecting dishes from dining room, lining trays, portioning curds. general cleaning.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
• Learning and understanding priority washing, and organization.

Skills

• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices in a kitchen setting.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Familiarity with culinary tasks such as cooking and food preparation is a plus.
• Previous experience in catering or banquet services is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
