Dishwasher + Handy Person

La Fuente Market is a local food hub, butcher shop, and kitchen focused on community, transparency, and real food.

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher & Handy Person to support kitchen operations and general facility upkeep. This role is essential to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and functionality throughout the market.

Responsibilities

Dishwashing & Kitchen Support Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, sheet pans, cutting boards, and kitchen equipment

Maintain clean dish station and floors Take out trash and recycling as needed Assist kitchen staff with basic prep or organizing when needed

Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

Handy Person / Facility Support Perform light maintenance tasks (changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, basic repairs)

Help move equipment, tables, and product displays

Assist with small build-outs, shelving installs, and organization projects Keep storage areas clean and orderly Support event setup and breakdown

Qualifications

Strong work ethic and reliability Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Able to lift 50 lbs

Basic knowledge of tools and light maintenance preferred

Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

• Food processing: 2 years (Required)
• whole animal nose to tail processing of large animal: 1 year (Required)
• value added butchery of non primals: 1 year (Required)
