Dishwasher - Part Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team at Gentile Arena. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the kitchen and serving areas, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly washed, sanitized, and stored.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment by hand or using a commercial dishwasher.
• Scrape and rinse food debris from dishes before washing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station, including sinks, counters, and floors.
• Properly sort and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks as needed, such as mopping floors, emptying trash, and wiping down surfaces.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderately heavy items.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules.
