Drywall Finisher

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role involves finishing drywall installations to ensure a smooth, professional appearance, and requires attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Duties

• Apply tape, joint compound, and other finishing materials to drywall surfaces.
• Smooth out imperfections and prepare surfaces for painting or other finishes.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and painters, to ensure quality workmanship.
• Perform caulking around edges and seams for a polished finish.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards on job sites.

Experience

• Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction fields.
• Familiarity with construction painting techniques is highly desirable.
• Background in carpentry is a plus.
• Maintenance Person experience that includes various repair skills will be beneficial.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans is essential.
