Drywall Installer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and related trades, with a strong focus on precision and quality. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that drywall is installed efficiently and to the highest standards. Candidates with a background in construction painting, carpentry, or handyman work will find this position aligns well with their skill set. A solid understanding of blueprint reading and caulking techniques is preferred to ensure accurate and professional results.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications
• Secure drywall using appropriate fasteners and tools
• Finish joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and applying texture as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and material requirements
• Perform caulking around seams and edges for a seamless finish
• Assist with related construction tasks such as framing, painting, or minor carpentry repairs
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and to client specifications

Skills

• Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing
• Knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, and general handyman skills
• Ability to read blueprints accurately
• Skilled in caulking techniques for a professional finish
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and working at heights as needed
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
