Dump Truck Driver

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to various job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles in various weather conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including minor repairs as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, specifically with dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Basic automotive repair skills are beneficial for performing routine maintenance on vehicles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
