Early Years Educator, Room Leader

Due to our colleague moving country, we have a Room Leader or Graduate Room Leader position becoming available in January 2026. This role is to work with children aged 3 - 5 years, 8 full day, 11 during ECCE hours.

Wages per ERO rates. Level 6 qualification - €16.00 per hour. Level 7+ qualification - €17.50 per hour.

Candidates MUST meet the following criteria:

- minimum 1 year experience, working in a creche, with minimum Level 6 qualification
- excellent attendance, communication skills & be highly organised.
- enthusiasm & a genuine interest in caring for children with the ability to work as part of a team & use initiative.
- knowledge in Aistear and Siolta.
- good Health and Safety awareness.
- experience in planning and carrying out age appropriate & stimulating curricula.
- an understanding of & ability to follow TUSLA regulations.
- a naturally warm & respectful way towards children & their holistic needs.
- an interest in cpd courses as they arise.
