Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and troubleshooting of complex equipment. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and optimizing electromechanical systems to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Candidates with experience in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, HVAC/R, and industrial electrician skills will thrive in this position. Fluency in English and a background in industrial mechanics are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot complex electromechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and analysis skills.
- Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities and track equipment history.
- Repair or replace components involving high voltage and low voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain safety standards by working with equipment like scissor lifts and understanding HVAC/R systems for facility comfort control.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and system documentation to facilitate repairs and upgrades.
Skills
- Extensive experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), VFD’s (variable frequency drive) and automation systems.
- Strong electrical skills including experience with high voltage, low voltage, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electrical schematics.
- Mechanical knowledge including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and use of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex electromechanical issues efficiently.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.07 - $40.00 per hour
